Bablee 2

Bablee is a Pakistani, married woman, unused to western ways. In Los Angeles everything is new and mystifying for her, so she needs guidance to cope with the rules of an alien society. Having grown up in a village, she has little experience of the world and sees white people as authority figures.

She is a small waif like creature, used to serving her husband and his family. Having to obey their commands and live according to their rules, she had become submissive and used to giving in to others.

Mistaken for her husband's young niece, she is placed in a boarding school, instead of an adult college. Although twenty-five, she is small, even for a Pakistani woman. All the girls are bigger and bolder than her, so she finds it difficult to speak up and tell anyone who she really is. How could she possibly correct the teachers. They are people of authority and can't be argued with.

Assigned a mentor, Adrian looks after her and becomes more intrigued with her than he thought possible. They become close, too close. She thinks it is so very bad, then finds it is good.
