Murin has always dreamed of being an adventurer. Since childhood, he's fantasized about exploring the world, slaying dragons, and saving damsels in distress. But now that Murin's a young adult, reality is setting in. His fate is to be a farmer like his father and his father before him.
When one of his pigs gets away from the family farm, Murin and his friend Luna follow it into the forest. They find the pig, but that's not all - Murin and Luna find a living, breathing, talking unicorn.
But Xavier isn't like other unicorns. He's rude, defiant, and has been exiled from the unicorn kingdom for breaking just about every one of their rules. Alone with no one to talk to, Xavier reluctantly befriends Murin and Luna.
While in the forest, they accidentally uncover an evil wizard's plot to destroy the unicorn kingdom so he can harness their awesome magical powers. Together, Murin, Luna, and Xavier get swept into a wild adventure that will forever change their lives - and the world.
