'Beasley's Christmas Party' is a beautifully written holiday story, by esteemed author Booth Tarkington. It is the story of a young cub reporter who is determined to visit Wainright, and interview Mr. David Beasley. Beasley is a well-respected local politician, who is vying for the governor position. Unfortunately, he is also reclusive, and hates being interviewed. The cub reporter lives next door to Wainwright, and is thus able to start keeping tabs on the man, and the estate. And as the politician begins planning for the big Christmas party he holds at his house, the reporter decides that the best way to talk to the man, would be to infiltrate the big Christmas party.
