Beyond The Hashtag: The Spirit, Heart and Love of Black Men includes 13 love letters to Black men who mean so much to Jenjii Faith including her father, sons, brothers, husband, Prince and others. Through poetry, images, and narrative, she explores the essence of her relationship to Black men which is sometimes loving, sometimes complicated, and always committed. This timely and relevant collection gives a first person peek into the heart of a woman who wants her own sons to be seen as whole and worthy, not feared.
