Jason is trying to process the life-changing events that happened all too fast. First, Jason and his family have a massive fallout. Next, the fallout ends with Jason and his sister, Phoebe, being separated and forced into the Foster Care System. Unfortunately, Jason moves to a new city with a new family. Lastly, Jason learns that his whole life has been a LIE. Jason gets told that he is an indigenous man after being told all his life that he had no cultural roots.
Luckily, he meets a teacher named Ms. Minowa, who hosts The Big Family program. A program specializes in helping indigenous students to graduate high school and give a sense of community. Ms. Minowa and her students will aid and show Jason the true meaning of being indigenousthe good and the bad. While in the program, Jason will learn a hidden secret that will shock him.
