Billy Two Hawks

The Billy Two Hawks books are much more than simply novels. Firstly, they are meticulously researched with every detail being highly accurate. They are also philosophical in that Billy, a Cree Indian, is an extremely moral character who always strives to do what is right. And so, yes, these are books which celebrate the Canadian First Nations people as well as the natural lands and wildlife of this beautiful country. If you are a Canadian, especially a 'Sask' you will appreciate this. If you have not been to Saskatchewan and the neighbouring provinces, you are in for a delightful surprise.

The plots of the Billy Two Hawks novels are intricate and very exciting, without lapsing into unnecessary violence. They are thus suitable for both children and adults. Meet Billy and he will quickly work his way into your heart. They also represent a love story which unfolds throughout the three existing books which should be read in sequence, starting with The Train, then Alaska and finally, Abduction. The latter being written in order to raise awareness of this continuing problem. Enjoy meeting Billy. Every woman will fall in love with him.
