Bina Patey Wala Khat by Prof. Kanwaljit Singh Dhudike is a collection of Punjabi poems about the changing seasons in one's life. The book is divided into four parts and cover different realms of life expressed gracefully and whole heartedly. The poet's deep observations will take you down the memory lane to experience the essence of Punjabi Heritage in the 90's era. The best poems of the book also talk about the agonies faced by people during 1984 riots, which was the time of traumatic terror in the history of Punjab. This book makes for a special space as it also comprises some of the rare calligraphic illustrations made by the poet during his lifetime. Published in 1997, this was the first book penned by Prof. Kanwaljit in his late twenties. He left for his heavenly abode in September 2014 and an initiative to republish this book with some new addition of poems is a small attempt to keep his message alive in the hearts of today's youngsters. With all the love and warmth, we are proud to present our legendary father's book in a new avatar. - Amrit Ammu & Harnoor SinghDecember, 2016
