"Bleak House" is considered to be the best novel by Charles Dickens which was first published as a serial. The main plot of the story is an intricate long-running litigation between all involved into this process with far reaching consequences. The basic element of the novel is a testator who obviously made several wills. The biggest part of the novel is based on real facts from Dickens's experience being a law clerk in his early ages and in part on his seeking to defend copyright on his earlier books.
