When their friends set Sam and Monique up on a blind date, they are both nervous and more than a little hesitant. Neither one of them knows what to expect. Sam has been burned before by catastrophic blind dates, and he doesn't think that this one will be any different.
Every time Monique starts to really like a man, there is always some sketchy skeleton in his closet that comes dancing out to wreck havoc in her life. Any man that seems "perfect" just feeds her suspicions. The level of perfection she thinks a man has is usually equally proportional to the level of chaos in his life he's trying to keep hidden from her.
They have both been promised by a mutual friend that they will get along great, but will this blind date prove to be as dangerous as all the others they have been on?
