Mullingar, king of the Ui Neill kingdom, went hunting and witnessed the Wild Hunt. The Wild Hunt is a cavalcade of gods racing on thoroughbred horses across the sky. It was a bad omen.
Meanwhile, Queen Medb's allies were approaching the Oriel kingdom by sea. Their leader was King Dagobar. A messenger arrived in Tara, who reported the invasion of enemies.
During this time, King Kimbaot, also an ally of Medb, attacked the kingdom of Ui Neill. He hated Mullingar and dreamed of conquering its fertile lands. However, Mullingar was aware of the impending invasion. And I was ready for it. Mullingar decided to lure the enemy soldiers into a clever trap.
