A Bookful of Girls (Illustrated)

A Bookful of Girls has six short stories about young women. It is overflowing with innocent mischief and fun. Madge, and Patty, Blythe and Olivia are at that "betwixt and between" age when the great questions are how high up the hair should go, and just how much boot-top should be left below the skirt. The highly readable tales range from a cruise ship voyage to bringing a family back together by inviting an estranged grandfather to Thanksgiving dinner.

Anna Fuller (1853-1916) was a novelist and short story writer. She was born in Cambridge, MA, and was known for the originality of her plots. Her works include: A Literary Courtship: Under the Auspices of Pike's Peak (1893), Peak and Prairie: From a Colorado Sketch Book (1894), A Venetian June (1896), Pratt Portraits (1897), One of the Pilgrims: A Bank Story (1898), Katherine Day (1901), A Bookful of Girls (1905) and Later Pratt Portraits (1911).
