The ramifications of the situation were starting to dawn on her. Where would they go? Living cooped up at her small apartment? She would go nuts if that ever happened. There had to be a way out of this mess.

"I will. Unless" he started, and she saw the shift in his eyes as if he was aiming in for his kill and enjoyed every second of it.

"Unless, what?" Elisa repeated.

Elisa just stared at him. What on earth did he mean?

"How?"

He moved closer, invading her private space as he bent his head a little and spoke into her ear.

"Forget it! I'm not for sale."

"You don't have much choice. It's my way or no way, and I will enjoy every second of your defeat," he said as he moved like a panther stalking his prey.
