Three adventurous novels:

The Reunion
Tommy is a twelve-year-old child with an obsession, taking his cat Milo to his sisters: Tara, who was adopted by a neighbor, and Polly, who lives on the street. But his plan gets ruined when his mother, a nurse, disappears into thin air after kidnapping a newborn baby from the hospital where she worked. The police search their home and the truth slowly comes to light: this woman was not their real mother; both Tommy and his sister Rebecca were kidnapped when they were young. Tommy is forced to leave Milo with a neighbor and he is placed in an institution, waiting for his real parents to be found. The child falls into depression, but regardless of everything that happened, he maintains a deep connection to the memory of his cat. When the parents are found, Tommy, instead of going home with them, runs away. But when he goes to the neighbor to take back Milo, both he and his sisters have disappeared. The only solution Tommy sees is to get help from a very strange private investigator, Vera Masala, hoping to find them again. The encounter with this odd woman and her companion Sara will change Tommy's life forever.

Holiday
Returning home for his mother's funeral, Jerry, a hydraulic engineer who has been traveling around the world all the time, brings his son Choi with him. The child is curious, wants to know the places where he grew up and meet his family. Jerry is not enthusiastic about the family he fled. The abyss that divides him from his father is unbridgeable. But he promised those seven days are for Choi's holiday. While strengthening old friendships and making new ones, relations with his father crumble even more. At the expense of Choi, who was not accepted. During a surprise lunch organized by his Aunt in an attempt to make peace between them, Jerry is attacked by his father, who accuses him of a defamatory crime. The time is ripe, and Choi needs it, the truth must come to light, it can no longer be postponed. But Jerry can't do it; he would like to go away, flee once more. The reading of his mother's will, however, escalates the situation, breaking the wall of hypocrisy that has always separated them. Now the showdown is inevitable. And this time Jerry does not only have to deal with it, but there's also Choi with him.

Roots
Matteo, turned sixteen a few days ago, throws himself out of the window and kills himself. A tragic news like many, destined to go unnoticed, if Morris Bain didn't attend the boy's funeral. A rock legend, on the wave for twenty years, Morris has always lived a dissolute life, including women, alcohol and drugs. It's inevitable that his presence pushes journalists to make the most absurd assumptions, especially after the discovery that the boy was adopted. Chester, once Matteo's best friend, knows that Morris can not be his father, so he finds the courage to face the man. They are both looking for the same thing: a reason that can explain that suicide. Thus begins a long night, where they will try to recompose the puzzle, drawing on their memories. The story of Matteo comes to life: a boy, looking for his roots. A guy who months ago disappeared for three days, returning completely changed. Three magical days that only Morris can fill, because he has lived them with him.
