The path of true love is rarely smooth, especially after Federal Immigration officer, Amina Byrnes, literally runs into her future love interest, Kendo exponent, Rory Valentine. For Amina: a call concerning an illegal immigrant racket leads to her witnessing a murder, committing a hit-and-run, and ending up in hospital where she is murdered. Meanwhile Rorythe hit-and-run victimbecomes the first client of an otherworldly being called Bot, an apprentice Life After Death Squad member, who removes Rory's life essence before his time is up.

After the erroneous death is confirmed: Rory insists that he, and later Amina, are brought to life again. To achieve this, Rory enlists the help of Amina's shade; Guy Phillips, a human possessing The Abilitya gift enabling him to see and communicate with ethereal beings; and three L.A.D.S - Hud, a nine-hundred-year-old archivist with a dry sense of humour and a penchant for correctness; Vig, his cantankerous bi-millennial-aged colleague, and Botan enthusiastic but accident-prone novice; plus CASsandra36411, the trio's surly, know-it-all, four-inch-tall information hologram.

Bring Me To Life is a story about life-after death set in Fremantle. It is a hybrid creation based on the movies Heaven Can Wait and Dating the Enemy. It views death, resurrection and reincarnation from a contemporary, humorous-fantasy angle.
