When Ezra discovers that his much loved daughter Sadie moves about with weakness and twisted legs, he does everything possible to keep away the institutions that wish to claim her, so that can live a normal life. While away, Kieran enters hell, which twists and breaks him into something cold, empty, and brimming with guilt.
