After an entire era, finally the facade of peace begins to fade. But what happens after the facade is no more? For some, old ambitions of conquest are allowed to burn anew. Stragglers may dig up enough resolve to risk it all for their place in history. Or... perhaps the opportunity for vengeance has finally reared its head for a certain eye.

But such circumstances mean nothing to the young Sue or Megan, and even less for their youngest sibling of the four. But when an odd child arrives in their simple and meaningless village, that may not remain the same. And with the child a door will come, opening to worlds of majik, kings and queens, distant cultures, and perhaps one too many answers to secrets the great want to remain hidden. Including those they may have always suspected.
