Two top government scientists, of El Segundo's Defense Row, are approached by a ranking CDC scientist to combat the approaching global pandemic that is to devastating consequences for the global human population in 2025, i.e. ninety percent of the future generation will be born with physical deformities. Mankind needs females who would be able to carry genetic sequences and offspring perfectly healthy humans for mankind's survival.

PASADENA, CA.

Carla Murphy is a highly privileged daughter, of a defense contractor on Defense Row and has her life ahead of her when--days before her college graduation at shadowy Pasadena U, Carla is awaken to cops in her living room. An intense investigation of a double murder inside her home of her fiance, Matt and her long time best friend Suzanne. Carla is marched off to the precinct for fireball questioning by the typical smug Detective Mike Jarvis. After being released, Carla returns home and tries to make sense of why her life suddenly turned upside down.

In the meantime--

Jarvis wills evidence linking Carla to the double murder. After getting a judge's order for a warrant, Jarvis and his partner arrests Carla at her parent's home. After arriving at the precinct's parking lot, a calculating ambush occurs on Carla and the two detectives. Jarvis and his partner returns fire, killing the perp, but not before Jarvis' partner is seriously wounded. Carla escapes with bodies lying in blood. What ensues is a police chase through the darkest corners of Los Angeles with Carla discovering shocking twist-and-turns that reveals the truth about her idyllic life that began on the drawing boards of Defense Row three decades earlier,
