physical geography :

Geographical geography is a major branch of geography in which the physical form of the earth is studied. It explains and studies the distribution of physical phenomena discovered at different locations in the record, and is also linked to geology, meteorology, zoology, and chemistry. It has many sub-disciplines which give a glimpse of various physical phenomena.

Human Geography :

Human geography studies 'the relationship between the physical/natural and human worlds, the spatial distribution of human phenomena and the reasons for their occurrence, and social and economic differences in different parts of the world'.

Main concerns of geography:

To understand the Earth as the home of humans and to study all the elements that have nurtured humans. Therefore, emphasis has been laid on the study of nature and humans.

There are different opinions regarding the theory and scope of geography. As :

Should its contents be organized

Should the approach to its study be regional or systematic?

Should geographical phenomena be explained on a theoretical basis?

Based on historical institutional approach In human geography we see that humans and nature are so intricately interrelated that they cannot be separated, this is the core of human geography.

Nature of Human Geography:

Human geography studies the interrelationships of physical environment and man-made social cultural environment through their mutual interaction.

Man has done this through his activities on the platform provided by the physical environment.

Home villages, cities, network of roads and railways. Industries, farms, ports, objects of daily use and all other elements of material culture have been created by humans using the resources provided by the physical environment.

The physical environment has been changed by humans on a large scale, and it has also affected human life.
