The French Revolution abolished the monarchy in France. The Declaration of Human Rights was the beginning of a new era. Today we take freedom, independence and equality for granted. But we must remember that all this also has a history.

French Revolution :-

The French Revolution of 1789 is an important event of the modern era. This revolution started against the autocratic monarchy, the feudal exploitative class, the privileged class and the indifference of the rulers towards the welfare of the people.

The main reason for the French Revolution of 1789 was the disrespect and exploitation of the people of the second and third estates. King Louis XVI of France was an autocratic king, and was also an incompetent ruler, doing whatever he wanted, always indulging in luxury.

The French Revolution began in 1789.

The revolution started on July 14, 1789 from the Bastille Fort.

People rebelled against the brutal rule of the monarchy.

There were three types of states in society.

1. In the first state, there was the clergy class, who had immense wealth and got many facilities and respect from the king.

2. The people of the second state were among the nobility, they had less respect, but they were not exploited in any way, the people of the noble caste had little wealth.

3. In the Third State, common people came, who did not have any special rights, they were always exploited, they were forced to work, they were made to work like bonded labour.

People of this class revolutionized against the king in 1789, which was successful and the first revolution in the world.
