A missing insurance adjuster, a fortune in Russian art and artifacts, a Southern belle, and a devilishly handsome man who isn't what he first appears to be. Cat Callahan senses a mystery and definitely has his work cut out for him this time.

Daxter and Callahan are in Savannah, GeorgiaDax taking handyman jobs, whenever, wherever, and Callahan spending a few days in the pleasant company of Julia Hampton. Meanwhile, the wily Scottish Fold cat will follow the clues, and if this Southern lady knows what's good for her, she'll listen to what he has to say.
