Cat's Eyes

For Catherine Alexander-Blair, Celtic fiddler and mate to one of the most powerful Master Vampires in the country, learning to conform and abide by the laws vampires hold sacrosanct is anything but easy. Independent, head-strong woman, witch, and relative newcomer to the vampire realm, Cat finds navigating the pitfalls of existing in a different reality especially difficult.

When Sabre, Master Vampire of the northeast territory, goes rogue and disappears, his sirelings appeal to Cat, known as Her Ladyship Passion to those in the vampire community, for protection and support. Also petitioned by the ghost of a witch to protect and defend Sabre, Cat, as a sister witch, finds herself unable to refuse.

As her powers continue to grow and evolve, Cat finds herself facing new challenges when Amon, her mate and sire once known as Sin, enlists the services of Witch Master Ulrich. Her new mentor trains her in the Craft and poses her lessons in the form of puzzles she must unravel. Given a deadly magical object, Cat is challenged to not only unlock its secrets, but to deal with its disposition, having only her instincts and intuition upon which to rely.

Lured from the safety of the Montjean estate, Cat finds herself at the mercy of one set of captors only to be rescued and held by another, more deadly, pair of enemies. Finding herself befriended by those once foe, she learns a profound lesson in perspective when an innocent gesture changes the course of existence between vampires and Agathodemon.

With the aid of her beloved friend and body guard Winter, the support of her powerful mate, Amon, and new friend and librarian, Max, Cat manages to rise to the challenges she's given and finds herself enriched by the experiences. Eventually, she finds herself the recipient of guidance and magical objects gifted her by a most powerful, ancient, and surprising deity. Having felt herself a pawn subjected to the whims and wills of Goddesses and Gods before, Cat must now choose whether to serve the divine or refuse both guidance and gifts.
