Tegan Maquire was better known as Chains in his MC Club Blood Eagles that he was the president of. For years he had put the club first, and they had done well. Now it was time to get a little bit for himself. His daughter in San Diego with her men and the Ops Warriors, and his wife killed by another biker club he was by himself except for the guys. And they weren't much company.
In steps, Carole Kincaid, who was a spook for the government, suddenly showed up at his doorstep, asking for a place to lay low. He was certainly not going to turn a beautiful woman away. At least Carole knew what his club did.
Thrust in the middle of a dangerous situation, the Blood Eagles will protect their own, and that included Carole, weather she wanted protection or not. As the situation explodes, so does Chains and Carole's feelings for each other.
