Bored wife Amelia books a family trip to tick off her husband where a leap of faith leads to meeting a new friend turns her life upside down.Two women from very different backgrounds meet by chance and quickly form an unbreakable bond. Rum and vodka, Merlot and Champagne flow freely for these two women as they find themselves getting the welcome mat shown to them on the exit side. If they were sober or out of their dreamland they would maybe have hurt feelings. They are just to enthusiastic about life and their friendship to care what anyone else thinks. An upbeat book that just goes to show that anyone can do anything they want on a wing and a prayer.
It seems both Amelia and Claudette have many lessons to teach one another along life's journey. As they sit on the beaches in the Bahamas and the beaches of New York, they feel time is fleeting and they would rather regret things that they have done than things they did not attempt.
