Champion Chronicles

An imaginative collection of stories written by the students of Champion Preparatory Academy's Creative Writing class. These stories encompass genres from historical fiction set in the 1890's through a post apocalyptic future. The collection opens in a future world where friends are disallowed and personal freedom is limited. When a young woman's career is chosen for her, she struggles to accept her fate in the face of possible corruption at the highest level of society. Next come a variety of stories including a realistic historical drama tracing the downfall of a good man facing unsurmountable grief, the touching story of a young girl overcoming a handicap and her own prejudices to fulfill her dream, and a superhero adventure full of thrills. The collection concludes with a slick modern fiction detailing the beginning of a rock star's tumultuous career. There is sure to be a story in this collection that will speak to each reader.
