Craig's always been a bit of a womanizer. "What did you do to me?" I managed to gasp. I flinched at the sound of my voice. So musical, but filled with fear. Something I'd never heard from my own lips before. I felt as if the world was falling from beneath me, a sense of vertigo that wouldn't cease no matter how I pressed against the rug. The dreams I'd had. I'd just never woken up¿ that had to be it. This¿ this was still a dream. I wasn't really¿ I swallowed, finding my throat suddenly dry.

A woman. I wasn't really a woman.

"We came up here to work on our relationship," Alice said, looking down on me with hard eyes. Her fingers tapped against one knee as she regarded me. "This is how it's going to work. It's time you learned how the other side lives, Craig. The way you treat women¿ it stops now."

I froze, not daring to breathe. The room continued to spin around me, ignoring my pleas to stop. "What the hell, Alice?"

"It's simple," she said, rising. The bed creaked as she pushed to her feet and swept across the room, past my prone form. She flung open the bedroom door, and I could just make out a tall form filling the doorway, the light of the lantern in the bathroom barely casting shadows across the man's heavy frame. My breath caught as a thousand thoughts flooded through my foggy mind. Alice had brought someone with her? What did she intend for me to do? And, somehow worst of all¿ I was naked with a stranger while I was a woman. I tried to push that last one aside, but it was insistent, clawing back into my thoughts as I shivered on the floor. "The thing you drank? It's changed you into a woman. It's permanent, unless I administer the antidote in the first twenty-four hours."

My wife took a few steps closer to me and knelt down beside me, her eyes boring deep into mine. "And I won't do that unless you sleep with him, Craig."
