We look at our harvest and call them the enemy - the world, liberals, communists, Muslims, spoilt entitled millennials - the list goes on. I'm referring to the people we demonise in our bid to remain true to our faith. Since we detest the ones whom the Lord calls our harvest, we remain spiritually hungry - and you know what happens to hungry people. They get angry and irritable. This is the sorry state of much of the church today. Spiritually famished, angry and irritable. Because we hate our harvest.
