Chasing the Dream/A Racer's Widow Story

The second book of A Racer's Widow Story. Chase Sinclair is all grown up and his dream of being an IndyCar champion came true. The racing season is over and a vacation on a tropical island is just what he had in mind to relax before he starts to focus on winning another championship. Not in his wildest dreams could he imagine getting dumped by his girlfriend for a dog and caught up in political turmoil.

Jess O'Dowd is all grown up now too and getting the story on everyone else's dreams as an up and coming journalist. She enlists the help of her photographer friend Mark to go with her and follow Chase Sinclair on his tropical vacation to try to get some dirt on the squeaky clean racecar driver and secure the job of her dreams. When civil unrest breaks out all around the resort they're at, Jess and Chase are forced into fleeing together.

With the help from local friends and a borrowed boat, Jess and Chase realize that the years they were separated melt away. The easy friendship and old desires return. They also realize, with a little help from family, that the dreams of their youth could turn into the reality of the future.
