Choosing Hope: One Woman. Three Cancers. is the story of how Munira Premji battled three advanced cancers: Stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Stage 3 multiple myeloma, and Stage 3 breast cancer, within a period of five years. Written as a series of anecdotes based on entries from a blog the author started shortly after her first diagnosiswhen her focus was simply on survivingit tells an inspirational story about resilience, courage, and hope in the face of overwhelming odds. It explores and shares the author's experiences at home, in the community, and in hospitals, revealing with utter honesty and catching humour her moments of utter darkness and light, of intense pain and blissful but precarious relief.

Choosing Hope captures the psychological, physical, and emotional trauma of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. It is easy to read and anecdotal in style and will have special appeal to recently diagnosed cancer patients, survivors and their families, to caregivers, and to many others facing health challenges.

"I've known Munira for over a decade, first as a leader within our community and then as a close friend and mentor. I've known her to guide, teach and inspire everyone around her. She is a beacon of light, a warrior of the highest order, and one of the most selfless, compassionate, and courageous people I have met."
Huse Madhavji, Actor/TV Host

"When I see Munira in a crowd or at an event, there is an aura around her that exudes warmth, peace and gratitude. If you are lucky enough to hug her, you'll never ever forget it. To say she is inspiring is an understatement. She should be angry with the world but instead is resilient, passionate and fights like hell. I don't think I've ever encountered anyone more powerful."
Farah Nasser, News Anchor, Global News
