The body of a university professor "Elizabeth Addison", is found by the police with signs of physical abuse. The case is assigned to Detective Joe Gibbs, an FBI agent with a prodigious mind, who along with Sarah, "his girlfriend and beautiful assistant", is in charge of solving the most difficult cases; except one (the Fisher Industries case). A few days later, the body of another young woman appears with similar signs, suggesting that both murders may have been carried out by the same person.
As the investigation progresses, Joe and Sarah discover that the order has been given by the head of a criminal organization with a lot of power in the country. This criminal calls himself "The Mouse", but who is this character? Who is hiding behind that mask? Both women belonged to this organization, and it seems that they were silenced, to prevent certain information from leaking out.
The case takes a complete turn, once the real name of "The Mouse" is revealed. This character from the past, will turn this investigation into something personal for Joe and Sarah who will not rest until justice is done once and for all.
