In the modern world there is a great deal of change, sophistication, advances in science, technology and modes of communication.

Things were black or white, unlike today, where anything goes. It was not all sunshine for it had its dark days, but there was a friendliness, conversation, humour and story-telling. This Collection of light reading looks, to some extent, into colourful characters of rural Ireland in the somewhat simpler times which were rich in such characters and their unique lifestyle and ways of doing business.
