Abstract

Antipsychotics are used as the Standard Of Care treatment for schizophrenia throughout the upper and middle class world. I conducted a review of the scientific literature to compare how patients functioned without antipsychotics versus with them. I discovered that antipsychotics are not helpful for most schizophrenics. Recovery rates were lower (-4.70x), hospitalization higher (4.31x), and costs were exorbitant (0.29x). Although death rates were lower (-1.41x).
