Helen's husband has cheated on her several times. Driven by despair,she talks to a priest who persuades her to give her husband one more chance. This sincere promise is challenged when she falls in love with Darek, the man she has always hoped to find. Darek sees the torment this moral dilemma is causing her. He soon realizes he is losing her to her promise and the guilt she feels. In desperation, he hires a prostitute to test the true character of Helen's husband.
