Having suffered at the hands of her brutal ex for far too long, restaurateur Indigo Coleman finally decides to make a clean break. She is intent on pulling her tattered life back from the brink and starting over.

She's also tormented by an abusive ex, and when Matthew is forced to intercede during a horrific incident where her ex's rage is put on display, he can't help but place his heartalong with every protective bone in his body at her feet.
