Curtis, Miss You Madly

Three years ago, my life was perfect. My status as a Special Agent was secure. My Ruby had agreed to marry me, and we had just bought our dream house. My life was perfect, but as I said that was three years ago. Then Ruby got the opportunity to live her dream as a professional dancer. And I wanted that for her. We agreed on one year apart. She'd dance for a year, then come home. We'd be married and start a family. She'd open a dance studio. Teach kids. She loved kids. It was the future we'd talked about since we were teenagers. And we were on track to our happily ever after. Then, as if a switch had been flipped; we weren't.

It took three years for Ruby (fucking bitch ruined everything) Madly to come home. I want nothing to do with her. And I want everything to do with her. She says she wants me again; wants us again. And I can't help that love, lust and hate all war within me. I want her to feel like shit, to feel remorse for leaving me, and I do that by reminding her that I know her body better than anyone ever could.

Do I want her? Fuck yeah. Of course, I do. She is still the sexiest woman on the planet. I'd be stupid not to. Do I hate her? Yes, I absolutely hate her. Do I still love her? Damn it, I hate to admit it, but yes, I still love her, and probably always will. But do I trust her? Hell no, and I may never again. I won't play her games. She's different, Guarded. She says it's nothing, but I call bullshit, and I'll be damned if I sit back without getting the answers I demand. The answers I deserve.
