Dare To Be Different: Can Mary's son really be who he claims to be?
After a concert in Slovenia's capital, the band is relaxing in the hotel suite. After a tip-off, police burst in, and even though it was Matt the bassist who had been snorting cocaine, they arrest Chris Simmonds and drag him away.
The next day he is found dead in a police cell. Although the distraught Mary does not want an autopsy performed on her son, and the British and Slovene governments are keen to avoid a major diplomatic incident, Mary's brother is determined to get to the truth of what happened on that fateful night.
Did his nephew knowingly take the punishment for his best friend? And why did a healthy 33-year-old have a heart attack and die in a police cell?
The story opens in March 1993.
'Dare To Be Different' is the sequel to 'From Out of the Blue'.
