Lovely Sharon comes from a small seaside village on KwaZulu Natal's South Coast. While still at college her brilliant art portfolio helps her land a job with a prestigious Johannesburg publishing house.
She moves in with her best friend, Julia, who had relocated a few years earlier and the two girls hit the uptown social scene. Sharon attracts the attention of Simon - a handsome worldly-wise, smooth talking man who is used to getting his own way with women.
Simon tries every trick in the book to break through Sharon's innocence, and she finds herself embroiled in a relationship with dark nuances; a love affair that threatens her stability, her belief in herself, her values and her peace of mind. Soon Sharon will have to decide between her love of self or her love for Simon.
