Un Diano Tan Solitario (A Not So Lonely Day)

Tea se rompió el brazo y tiene que quedarse en casa unos días, sin ir a la escuela, para acostumbrarse al yeso. No le gusta sentir que se pierde lo que pasa en la escuela, así que a su papá se le ocurre un plan genial: ¡van a hacer todo lo que ella y sus amigos harían normalmente en el colegio, pero en casa! Juntos, Tea, Papi y su perra Rosita llenan el día con lecciones, juegos, un almuerzo y hasta una siesta. No es lo mismo que suele hacer normalmente, pero pronto Tea descubrirá la alegría de poner en acción todo lo que aprendió de sus amigos, en su propia casa.

En este cuento alegremente ilustrado y con temas universalmente cercanos, una niña con mucho FOMO (miedo a perderse algo, por sus siglas en inglés) aprende que hay muchas maneras de sentirse cercano a la gente y las cosas que queremos. Y que no estar presente en una ocasión no siempre quiere decir que te la pierdas.

Thea has a broken arm and must spend a few days home from school, adjusting to her cast. She does not like feeling left behind from the happenings at school, so her daddy comes up with a brilliant plan: they'll do all the things she and her friends would normally do in the classroom, but at home! Together, Thea, Daddy, and their doggy Rosie fill their day with learning, play, a snack, and even a nap!
