Jerome Klapka Jerome was a renowned English writer and humorist, best known for his humorous and comic masterpiece "Three Men in a Boat", apart from his other notable works of literature. He was born on 2nd May, 1859 in Caldmore, Walsall, England, and was raised amidst poverty in London. His other works include the essay collections like the "Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow" and "Second Thoughts of an Idle Fellow", "Three Men on the Bummel"- which was a sequel to Three Men in a Boat; and several other novels. Dick Dunkerman's Cat by Jerome K. Jerome is a mystical story but very kind and positive one. The main idea of the story comes from the deep of human self-esteem. The potential main character a big black cat named Pyramid has emerald eyes and seeks shelter in different human houses. Sometimes Pyramid makes its home and stays at the artist, playwright or a priest place. And then, more often, in a short time they become happy, wealthy and famous. The reader is amazed by great novel, listeners are touched by new gifted singer but what price and who is that unknown cat?
