Private investigations can be an exciting profession but at times it can be tedious, and just plain boring. So when a beautifully strange woman enters P.I. Stanton's office to hire him to recover a valuable family heirloom stolen from her, he thinks of it as just another case.
Yet when Stanton starts investigating the case, strange, and unusual things start to happen. Strange, and unusual things that revolve around his client, this strange woman. These strange events make Stanton reassess the case as events rapidly start to get out of hand. He realizes this case is not one he can handle alone. He will need help. Specialized help. Help from one of the most dangerous criminal mob bosses in the city.
This mob boss is a woman who used to be his lover. A woman who used to be his fiancee. A woman who has promised to do horrid, unmentionable things to certain body parts of Stanton's if she ever saw him again. A woman who has the jealousy, and power to fulfill her promise. And Stanton needs her help to solve this strange woman's case.
Oh well, here's to missing the usual boring cases but hopefully, no missing body parts.
