More than half of people over 65 complain of memory less efficiently. In the elderly the feeling of a reduced cognitive performance and decreased memory is derived strictly from neuro-biological factors both psychological and social factors that intersect and reinforce each other: the more negative the result is the abandonment of any activity requires even minimal cognitive effort resulting in isolation and social withdrawal.
