The congregation of millions did as told by the churches' founder and first pastor, famed televangelist, Brother Ryan Rawlins, who became one of the most powerful men in the southern part of the country. After his death, other family males with the same name ruled the church. Millions came to believe he reincarnated in his grandson, who denied the church until forced to embrace it to save his life.
