Dolor Venit in Fluctus is a collection of stories in fiction, suspense, and magical realism. These three stories snake through the path of grief to center around the not-so-obvious, the small-town mysteries, and the overwhelming loneliness.

After coming to terms with his new reality, Louis finds himself face-to-face with the door of an old manor, humming with energy. For some reason, something about it rattles him, makes the fogginess disappear for a moment, and he realizes that behind the door, his lost years await him.
