Rika and Jason have finally come to terms with their feelings. But, as both of them realize, a relationship isn't quite so simple, especially when every possible card seems to be stacked against them. Despite their attempts to keep the world's pointing fingers at bay however, the haunting attitude begins to seep between them.

Levi Pierce, FBI Special Agent, is determined to track one of the many traces to this toxin, an explanation he believes begins with its source. His efforts to investigate Eric Jason Keinishi lead him no closer to the answers he wants however and instead raise only more questions. Questions that not even Rika, his suspect's girlfriend, can account for. In fact, she's completely oblivious. Yet, if he'd had any intention of severing ties with her, the endeavor fails. Having already invited her into his life, Rika remains so, forcing her way in through the cracks.
With her tiresome meddling however come new leads he hadn't expected. Voices that are much more in tune with the possibility of danger and are more than happy to express as much if doing so will secure Rika's safety. Coming to understand that there's a much larger scheme hiding beneath the debris, Levi makes protecting Rika his top priority, a development none had expected.
But, even with the extra security, it may not be enough. A larger threat, one that's been hovering above them all, is finally ready touch down. Abusing the suspicion already plaguing everyone's day-to-day lives, it comes between even the closest friends and family, turning them against each other. Action must be taken as these secrets rear their ugly heads; as everything begins to come together.
