Dragon Lady

I get a telephone call, at home, from a Senior Vice President on a Saturday afternoon. A company project up in the high desert is in bad trouble. I'm ordered to get my ass up there and sort things out. I'm to be there and working no later than Monday at 08:00 hours (8AM for you non-military types.)
With no real choice, I throw a few things in a suitcase and book the next flight to the high desert. The next flight gets me there Sunday afternoon.
When I get to the military base, I find that, once again, Project Manager Les has managed to screw things up.
I begin to fix the screw ups, only to find that the Commanding Officer is about to cancel the contract.
I call back to the company and advise them of the political problem with the CO. The brass then call me back and tell me they have decided to send in the Dragon Lady.
The next plane from the big city arrives and with it the DL. She's a very flashy lady with a wild mane of gold hair, a lingerie model body and, if rumor is correct, she's a shameless whore if you're a customer and also far enough up your management chart to warrant her attention.
The DL stops by the lab where I'm working to get an update on my progress, just the percentage completion and remaining time required.
The DL then does what she does with the CO.
Between myself and the DL, we get the tech stuff done and the contract is still good.
The DL is then unable to book a flight back and her (ex) boyfriend is too busy to come and get her.
The DL and I then start to drive back home. The rental car gives up in the little desert town of Cowflop.
The DL then gets drunk. The sign on the outside of the Deserter Bar promises strippers. There are no strippers visible. The drunk DL decides to fill in.
The very drunk DL then strips and proves to be a full service bar girl for the horny desert boys and her tech guy.
By morning, a very embarrassed DL tells her tech guy that she has no idea why she did what she did and was he one of the bar guys?
The tech guy has a case of amnesia and can't remember much.
The DL then tells her tech guy that she has decided to give up screwing customers and she will recruit girls to do that. However, she needs a quality control guy.
The tech guy can do that.
The DL then tells him that she's gonna have to make sure that he's doing a good job with the quality control.
This tech guy is willing to do just about anything, for the company, of course.
