Dragonmist: The Shattered Crystal

Zymak about to be struck down and killed by his adversary, Malkian, uses the last of his strengh to shatter the Crystal of Peace to ensure Malkian,cannot rule forever. The seven shards hide themselves in various parts of the world to wait until one will come to reunite them.
The roguish Ancient Ones, Almetheron and Dalykrado are twin scribes, responsible for writing the prophecies which tell of a young man who will one day reunite the shards. Over the years, many try and fail.
A child, Jasper, is born in the Amryc Mountains, the utopia of our dreams and a place protected from the prying eyes of Malkian whose evil rule has made the remainder of the world the utopia of our nightmares.
Take a chance, jump, eyes closed into the unknown and travel the road to self discovery with Jasper as one by one his physical, mental, emotional and spiritual abilities are tested to the limits of his endurance.
