This writing is about the art of life, about the nature of the role women have fashioned for themselves next to men, about how women attempt to manage their destiny in a world constructed by men, and about where men fit into women's lives. It is also about how women run life itself. The book is written for men but women might want to read it, too, if they want to know what men are about. But while it is written about both sexes, it is the male view of life with women that predominates the book's observations and information. Only men can say what women are for them.
