When Desiree Doppelganger walks into the offices of Mortimer-Crasher, her feather boa and flirtations with "Pretty Eyes" aren't the only things heating up the office. Lou and his partners take on the search for Desiree's missing prized pooch, Boots. What should be a walk in the doggie park quickly moves up the mercury as hard-boiled Crasher discovers he's not the only one seeking the spirited stud dog. What if anything do a metro male dancer, a spoiled socialite, and a dead policeman have to do with the case? Why are a hot dame and her pyromaniac sidekick following Lou in a hemi-loaded Dodge Charger? And will the donning of a floral-patterned shirt that violates Lou's tough guy code actually save his life?
