Early 19th century: London's Drury Lane theatre district is the lair of the Resurrection Men, suppliers of corpses to the medical colleges.
When wealthy Lionel Furthingale's daughter disappeared 25 years ago, she was assumed dead, a traceless disembodied victim of the Resurrection Men.
