He proudly served in the United States Air Force, something he reminds people of every day (like most veterans).
The best decision he ever made was over forty years ago when he asked Cassidy Carson to marry him. The jury is still out on whether accepting said proposal was Cassidy's best decision.
JT's books are formed from his knowledge and interest in politics, government, and religion, and his characters are maneuvered through strategies honed over many years playing incredibly bad chess.
