During World War II, a high-spirited American archaeologist named Saunders is asked by the British Government to locate King Arthur's sword, Excalibur. Saunders accepts and is quickly plummeted into a race against time and against Nazis. He must secure The Sword (as Excalibur is called) and spirit it away before Hitler can take possession of it for dark purposes.

Saunders' nemesis is a man named Erman, a German archaeologist who has secret plans of his own. Erman is a man who will use any means at his disposal to see that his plans are successful including conspiring against the Third Reich.

Erman's closest official associate is named Captain Berger, a faithful and loyal Nazi soldier. Berger is highly suspicious of Erman and keeps a close eye on him.

Saunders is vulnerable because of his love for a woman named Tara Miles. She entered her graduate studies in archaeology under Saunders' tutorship. While Saunders was away in Britain, Tara Miles was offered the chance to lead an expedition in Jerusalem. It was an opportunity she accepted without hesitation.

Erman, ever ready to capitalize on an adversary's weakness, is in Jerusalem when Tara arrives. Like a predator, he waits in the wings.

Shortly after the story begins, Saunders finds Excalibur and quickly loses it to the Nazis. Saunders and Tara are soon reunited and they go in search of Excalibur's scabbard. They find it, and that too is taken by the enemy.

Saunders and Tara have got to follow the trail and recapture Excalibur and the Scabbard before Hitler can claim an unquestionable and unchallengeable right to them. In this case, possession is more than nine-tenths of the law. It is the whole of it.

Excalibur Found ! is an entertaining story told in a dynamic and unique style of writing.

Some of the scenes (Chapters 2 & 9, for ex.) have been intentionally written with an "over the top" tone. They're meant to be read as exaggeration; the way they would be portrayed in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie.

Suggested reader group: YA and up.
